Condensers - Brazed Plate (BPHE)
Brazed Plates heat exchangers can be used as condensers in closed loop tower applications. It is good practice to install a 16-20 mesh strainer ahead of the heat exchanger to minimize the risk of clogging. Standard models are copper brazed with 316SS plates limiting them to non corrosive applications.
Doucette’s brazed plate heat exchangers are assembled from a very small number of machine formed parts for exceptional durability along with higher operating pressures and temperatures. Fouling is virtually eliminated by the self-cleaning effect generated through high induced turbulence. Doucette’s compact design and low refrigerant charge requirement are attractive advantages for packaged cooling system.
